Burnlee is ideal for exploring Orkney, situated nine miles from both the Royal Burgh of Kirkwall and the historic sea-haven, Stromness. A short drive will take you to most of the sites of interest on mainland Orkney. There are lovely walks and an abundance of wildlife in the area.
