Contact us by phone, letter or email to check the availability. To secure the booking we require a £140 deposit (refundable only if we get an alternative booking for that week/s). The balance of payment is to be paid four weeks prior to your arrival date. Payment can be made by cheque to 'N & K Sclater' at Skaill, Orphir, Orkney, KW16 3HD or through IBAN.

Late bookings may be available for long weekends or short breaks should the property be available. Any request will be responded to according to the time of year and your requirements.

Arriving at Burnlee and Leaving

Burnlee will be available at 3pm on the Saturday of your arrival. And we ask you to vacate the house by 10am on the Saturday on which you are leaving.

Burnlee has under floor heating throughout which is thermostatically controlled for each room. All lighting, water and under floor heating costs are included in the tariffs. You will be supplied with one bag of fuel for the multi- fuel stove and further bags will be available for purchase from us at Skaill.

Crisp bed linen and towels are provided within the tariff. There will be a welcome pack provided on your arrival.

Information is provided on the many interesting things to see and do in the area and in Orkney. There is information on local walks, the lochs and beaches, eating places, historic sites, community events, entertainment, amenities and services.

There is ample parking provided at the back of the house where there are outside drying facilities and a shed.

We ask for no pets on the premises and no smoking in the house.
